Nuestra CDC, working in partnership with Mattapan CDC, performed a substantial rehabilitation of the Adams Court buildings to modernize units and preserve affordable rental housing in the Mattapan neighborhood of Boston. This project is comprised of 95 one, two and three bedroom units.
Adams Court is an important preservation project, particularly in Mattapan, where affordable rental housing is scarce. Nuestra was able to assemble a competitive financing package and secure the units in January of 2004. Without this purchase, Adams Court may have become market-rate housing.
