The NCDC Board of Directors extends our sincere gratitude to N. Paul TonThat as he departs Nuestra and shares a message with the community below. We particularly want to thank Paul for his tireless dedication in overseeing the critical final phases of some of our most significant developments, including the award-winning Bartlett Station.
We also ask you to join us in welcoming Evelyn Friedman as she returns to NCDC in the role of interim executive director. Many of our partners and residents will remember Evelyn’s prior service as executive director from 1990 to 2008. In addition to those 18 years building the organization, Evelyn brings a wealth of experience from her work with the City of Boston and the Greater Lawrence Community Action Council. We look forward to having her expertise and vision lead us to new heights.
Dear Nuestra Community,
Thank you for the opportunity to serve as Nuestra CDC's Interim Executive Director for the past 2.5 years. It has been a privilege to work with so many dedicated staff, board members, and partners toward the realization of Nuestra's goal to build homes, community, wealth, well-being, and opportunity for the residents of Roxbury and surrounding neighborhoods.
The organization will be in good hands under the interim leadership of Evelyn Friedman, who has decades of experience in the field of community development.
I wish you all the best!
Warmly,
Paul
